Definition Of Moral Principles
Morals and ethics in our society are dictated mainly by our respective religions. Most people who believe in God and religion are disciplined about maintaining their morals. They also have rigid ideas about morals in life. |
There are several kinds of morals, and people follow them because they know it is right thing to do. If there were no morals and ethics, then there would be no difference between human beings and animals. We all will be doing the same mistakes. The consciousness or the inner voice which always stops us from being wrong is our own morals and ethics. We all, as adults, know what is a good thing and what is a bad thing. It is because we can differentiate between these things, we are able to coexist in a society.
Most of the morals that we know are also based on common sense like speak the truth, be honest, do not be mean to others, and give respect to people and nature and so on. These morals have been repeated to us time and again since our childhood. We hear them so many times that these morals become the voice in our heads. There are some morals that we learn from our own experiences and these can be good or bad. A bad experience teaches us a moral that we will never repeat these mistakes and good experiences teach us good morals.
Whatever the case may be, without morals the world would be an extremely violent and sad place to live
