Signs Of Codependency

There are few prominent signs of codependency which can be easily observed. If you see a person with such signs then definitely you should suggest the person a therapist who can suggest solution to overcome codependency. The person with codependency feels mainly contented in giving. They search for deprived people to take care of. They believe in pleasing others rather than pleasing themselves. Their sense of responsibility is high that can be said as an overdeveloped sense.

The signs of codependency are as follows:

  • Their neglect their own problems and start bothering for problems of other people. They in fact may feel remorse, worry and disappointment for others.
  • They do not have a soft corner for themselves and may start wondering why people do not think about them.
  • Their feeling becomes poor and they think as they are offended by the self-interest of others.
  • They may try to give everything they have to please others. They try to do the best possible they could continue.
  • It is very difficult for them to refuse any request or in other words to say a simple no. They are also poor in setting their own boundaries or limits.
  • They are curious to know everything; they want everyone to share everything with them and sometimes are bored when they do not come know about any crisis.
  • Search for a confusion and then start complaining about it.
  • Codependent people may get irritated or angry easily when someone refuses their advice or request.
  • The self-esteem in this kind of people is very low.
  • They always try to justify themselves.
  • They may do not have the ability to learn from past mistakes as they are scared to make mistakes.
  • People who understand this kind of people easily separate them from others by just showing some uncaring attitude, rudeness and insincerity.
