Why-Is-Conflict-Resolution-Important      Conflicts are the most unwanted things in any kind of teamwork; yet they are inevitable. Wherever, two or more minds are appointed to work for the same cause or mission, conflicts usually occur. But most of the times, it is not possible to disintegrate the team and pull up a new one. What Is Conflict Resolution ?

Wherever there is a team work concerned, there is bound to be a clash or a conflict of opinions or choices. But that does not mean that team work should be eliminated altogether. Teamwork comes in when individual effort fails to put the solution up together. And, most of the work that an organization requires needs teamwork to get it done.

Team means an assembly of various minds, with their various levels of intelligence and views. So, when these variable parameters are put together to work towards a common goal, there is bound to be a friction. This friction can come up due to difference in suggestions or advices made or due to some miscommunication or misinterpretation of words or any other reason. An urgent need comes up to solve these matters so that the smooth sailing of the actual work can be resumed. This calls for something that is known as conflict resolution.

Conflict resolution is a psychological way to placate any unwanted tension that creeps in and which can pose as an obstacle to the normal progress of the work. Now, by resolving these problems, not only does the work resumes back to its normal state, but some new things also take the forefront.

Resolving conflicts between two or more people bring out an increased understanding of the other teammates and also throws a light upon one’s own soul too. It also reminds everyone why they are doing what they are assigned to and what benefits can be achieved out of that work. This helps them to work again with a renewed vigor and focus and thus makes the outcome of the work even better at times. Likewise, if the conflicts are not resolved properly, equally devastating results may show. There can be permanent damage caused between some professional and personal relations concerned, which are bad for any type of work under an organization.
